Buy the Shirt to Stockbridge Top sewing pattern from Greyfriars and Grace. The Shirt to Stockbridge Top pattern shows you how to turn an existing large adult shirt into a stylish top. You get the benefit of beautiful professional tailoring (buttons and buttonholes, collar and cuffs) from the existing shirt, and all you need to do is some clever cutting and straight sewing!

The Stockbridge Top has many variations – you design and decide! Collar (original, band or pleated) or no collar? Sleeves, cuff sleeves or no sleeves? Ruffle or no ruffle? This top is particularly fabulous made with an existing dinner/dress shirt!

Suggested fabrics and fabric requirements: An existing large adult shirt - the bigger the better. The shirt should be regular fit (not slim fit). Size M will need at least a 17" collar. Size L and larger will need at least an 18” collar.

Sizing: XS – XXXL / UK 8 – 20. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2 yd/m of 1" (25 mm) wide bias binding, or make your own using the included instructions; 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of ruffle fabric (if you are making the optional ruffle in a different fabric).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (16 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
